Wye Properties

Property Name Description
Angle 1 <angle value> between 5° and 90°
  • Sets branch angle between End1 and End2.
Angle 2 <angle value> between 5° and 90°
  • Sets branch angle between End1 and End3.
Angle Top <angle value> between 1° and 90°
  • Sets branch angle between End1 and End3. Default 45°.
Angle Bottom <angle value> between 0° and 90°
  • Sets branch angle between End1 and End2. Default 45°.
Auto Size inradius;minlength
  • Sets inner and outer radii computed internally; however for a blank Auto Size option, R3/R4 values could be altered.
Branch1 Length Positive <numeric value>
  • Sets straight length of side branch ending at End2.
Branch2 Length Positive <numeric value>
  • Sets straight length of side branch ending at End3.
Branch Center Offset Positive <numeric value>
  • Sets center line offset distance between End1 connect point to side branch start point. Limited by application to prevent illogical fitting.
Branch1 Offset Positive <numeric value>
  • Sets the straight length on the main branch's (End1) side adjacent to the first branch (End2), thus offsetting the branches. The straight length begins at the end of the L1 dimension, and ends at the start of the first branch (End2) radius.
Branch2 Offset Positive <numeric value>
  • Sets the straight length on the main branch's (End1) side adjacent to the second branch (End3), thus offsetting the branches. The straight length begins at the end of the L1 dimension, and ends at the start of the second branch (End3) radius.
Branch Radius <numeric value> greater than or equal to zero.
  • Sets center line radii between End1 and End2/3.
Branch 1 | Extension Positive <numeric value>
  • Sets the straight length on the branch terminating at End2. The straight length begins where the radius stops, and ends where the L2 dimension begins.
Branch 2 | Extension Positive <numeric value>
  • Sets the straight length on the branch terminating at End3. The straight length begins where the radius stops, and ends where the L3 dimension begins.
Branch1 Length Positive <numeric value>
  • Sets branch length. Center line distance between side branch divergence point to End2 connect point.
Branch2 Length Positive <numeric value>
  • Sets branch length. Center line distance between side branch divergence point to End3 connect point.
Branch 3 | Depth Offset

(for Drop Cheek fittings)

  • Sets center line distance between End1 connect point and the divergence point of side branch leading to End3.
Branch 4 | Depth Offset

(for Drop Cheek fittings)

  • Sets center line distance between End1 connect point and the divergence point of side branch leading to End4.
Branch 3 | Angle <angle value> between 1° and 90°
  • Sets branch angle between End1 and End3.
Breech Type flat
  • Provides flat area on sides of fitting body.

elliptical
  • Sides of fitting are fully rounded.
Center Line Offset Positive <numeric value>
  • Sets center line offset between End2 and End3 connect points.
Connection 1 | Length (L1) Positive <numeric value>
  • Sets End1 connection length for round and oval shapes.
  • Sets straight length on all branches for rectangular shapes.
Connection 2 | Length (L2) Positive <numeric value>
  • Sets End2 connection length for round and oval shapes.
Connection2 to Connection3 Offset Distance Positive <numeric value>
  • Automatically set by the application.
Conection2 to Connection3 Offset Positive <numeric value>
  • Sets distance between the bottom surface of End2 to top surface of End3.

Connection 3 | Length (L3)

Positive <numeric value>
  • Sets End3 connection length for round and oval shapes.
Connection | End Type fl -<numeric value>
  • Sets and sizes end with a flange connection.
m -<numeric value>
  • Sets and sizes end with a male connection.
fe -<numeric value>
  • Sets and sizes end with a female connection.
Separate End Type entries for each End Spec with a semi colon.

Example: fl-2;fe-.13 creates a flange at End1 with size 2, and a female connection at End2 with an overall reduction of component's dimensions of .13

Depth Offset <numeric value>
  • Sets top offset between End1 and End2. Top is fully flat with a zero value.
Distance to Crotch From Top <numeric value>
  • Displays the top distance of Wye end from the crotch.
End2 Run Offset <numeric value>
  • Sets right offset between End1 and End2 with zero value being fully flat.
End3 Run Offset <numeric value>
  • Sets right offset between End1 and End3 with zero value being fully flat.
Header Length Positive <numeric value>
  • Sets center line distance between End1 connect point to side branch divergence point.
Height Positive <numeric value>
  • Sets center line distance between End1 connect point to farthest point along center line. Automatically set by application.
Rise Offset <numeric value>
  • Sets top offset between End1 and End2 with zero value being fully flat.
Radius 1 (R1) <numeric value> greater than or equal to zero.
  • Sets the inside radius between End1 and End2.
Radius 2 (R2)

<numeric value> greater than or equal to zero.

  • Sets the inside radius between End1 and End3.
Radius 3 (R3) <numeric value> greater than or equal to zero.
  • Sets the outside radius between End1 and End2.
Radius 4 (R4) <numeric value> greater than or equal to zero.
  • Sets the outside radius between End1 and End3.
Straight Bottom <numeric value>
  • Sets the branch (at end3) length of cross along bottom side.
Straight Left Bottom <numeric value>
  • Sets the branch length of wye at left side down along end3.
Straight Left Top <numeric value>
  • Sets the main branch (at end1) length of te along top side.
Straight Right <numeric value>
  • Sets the branch2 length of wye of along bottom side.
Offset Options <null value>
  • Frees fitting from any symmetry constraints.
a <angle value>
  • Face is offset by an angle value.
a< <angle value>
  • Changes the default minimum angle check of 5° to the New Value.

  • Bottom is flat.
b <numeric value>
  • Bottom is offset by value.
ba <angle value>
  • Bottom is offset by an angle.
l
  • Left side is flat.
l <numeric value>
  • Left side is offset by value.
la <angle value>
  • Left side is offset by an angle.
r
  • Right side is flat.
r <numeric value>
  • Right side is offset by value.
ra <angle value>
  • Right side is offset by an angle.
s
  • Fully symmetric fitting.
st
  • Symmetric fitting with respect to top and bottom.
sr
  • Symmetric fitting with respect to left and right.
t
  • Top is flat
t <numeric value>
  • Top is offset by value.
ta <angle value>
  • Top is offset by an angle.
Combined entries are separated by forward slashes. Entries are honored in order from left to right. Angle value range is – 85° to + 85° unless a<xx° is encountered.
Total Length (L) Positive <numeric value>
  • Sets overall length of fitting.
Width Offset <numeric value>
  • Sets front offset between End1 and End2. Front is fully flat with a zero value.
